Humour InCorporated

What we do
We work with companies large and small, as well as individuals and teams, teaching how to incorporate humour effectively into leadership.
How we do
One of the greatest ways to break down barriers and connect people is through laughter, but getting humour across takes an awareness of yourself and your audience.
Workshops
Our bespoke workshops prepare you to make your colleagues laugh and, more importantly, bring your team closer together.
Workshops are created and delivered by professional comedian and coach, Erich McElroy (this is him doing a stand-up gig - cool, right?)
Workshops & Individual Support
We answer two questions:
-
Should you use humour for at work? YES.
-
How do you do it? By knowing who you are.
Whether you're trying to inject humour into your meetings, your team or your own Instagram - there are basics which will help you create levity and connection.
Most people avoid humour because they are afraid they will offend or fail, but there are simple and straightforward things you can do to make it work!
Meet your Instructor
Humour matters. I don't just say that becuase I've done stand-up comedy for over 20 years, but it's a key fabric to life and (probably more importantly) work - laughter connects us, brings people together and helps us see the world in a new way - the catch is it has to be presented in the right way. Nothing like standing-up in front of a live audience night, after night can teach you that.
I've also been lucky enough to work with US student loans. Lucky, you say? Through my work in Higher Education, I've helped universites all over the world access funding for American students abroad. Having a sense of humour, has helped a lot with that!
Finally, nothing helps you have a sense of humour like being an immigrant. Life in another culture has been a constant learning experience. Navigating another country comes with it's own life lessons. You're constantly juggling and communicating in two worlds. The world you're in and the one you left behind. That's why I dial back across the pond with my podcast - American Exchange.
not an autobiography,
it's short & sweet!
